World’s Strongest Violinist Takes Third at the Arizona State High School Diving Championships

World’s Strongest Violinist Evan Pittman placed third at the Arizona Division III high school state diving championships on Friday.

Coached by 1976 Olympian Barb Nejman, Evan improved from his 2015 state finish – rising from sixth to third place in the state of Arizona.

The Arizona high school senior will now concentrate on peaking for the upcoming World Powerlifting Championships in New Jersey, where he will attempt to become the only high school student in history to break more than 100 world records.

The Arizona high schooler has an extensive background in a variety of sports, including diving, powerlifting, strongman, martial arts and skeleton.  He is a two-time Amateur Athletic Union Strength Sports National Athlete of the Year, and recipient of the Joel Ferrell Award at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
