World’s Strongest Violinist Evan Pittman is in Tucson, Arizona this weekend for the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra 2017 Dorothy Vanek Youth Concerto Competition.

Evan will compete against other violinists for cash awards playing Max Bruch’s “Concerto in G Minor”, the same selection he is using for his solo audition for Arizona’s All-State Orchestra.   The competition will be held Sunday at the University of Arizona.

Evan has studied the violin since he was five years old, and has performed for more than 70,000 people since age 12.
