World’s Strongest Violinist Appears in Sports Illustrated for the Second Times

For the second time in six years, World’s Strongest Violinist Evan Pittman has made America’s preeminent sports magazine Sports Illustrated.

The record-breaking powerlifter was featured in the Faces in Crowd section of the January 30th edition of Sports Illustrated, which chronicled Evan becoming the youngest competitive powerlifter to surpass 100 lifetime world powerlifting records.

Evan was previously featured in the November 2011 issue of Sports Illustrated Kids, in the Sportskid of the Month section, for his powerlifting record-breaking and taekwondo prowess.

Evan has been featured in newspapers, magazines, television, radio and on a variety of websites since he surpassed the century mark in world records while winning the WNPF World Powerlifting Championships back in November.

Evan will return to the lifting platform in June.
