On Thursday April 20, Evan Pittman kicked off a series of violin performances across Arizona by performing the national anthem for more than 600 attendees at the AZ Coalition for Military Families 2017 Symposium for Veterans, Service Members and their Families.

Friday evening, April 21, Evan performed a solo concert at Phoenix Country Day School in Paradise Valley, AZ.  The 50-minute concert consisted of 11 songs, some performed solo, and some accompanied by professional musicians on piano, violin and cello.

Evan will also perform as a representative of Musicians on Call at Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, April 26; will perform for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation gala on May 13; at Prestige Academy on May 20; and will perform the national anthem for the Arizona Diamondbacks-Chicago White Sox Major League Baseball game at Chase Field on May 23.

Evan has performed for more than 70,000 people across the country as part of his Musical Outreach community service effort.  He began studying the violin when he was six years old, and as a middle school and high school student, founded school string ensembles in both Florida and Iowa. He is a two-time recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, and in 2017 received an AXA Achievement Award for his volunteer service.
