“Evan Pittman (pictured below), 11, from Tampa, Florida, set nine world records in the 77 lb. class at this years World’s, including a 194 lb deadlift. Evan received enthusiastic encouragement from the Brazilian National Powerlifting Team during his record attempts, and posed with them at the Myrtle Beach airport after the meet. Evan trains for powerlifting twice a week with his father, and also runs track, plays soccer, and is a 2009 AAU Junior Olympic Games Taekwondo Champion.”
