Evan continued with his music ministry on Thanksgiving Day, with concerts for elderly residents at two Phoenix area nursing homes.  In the morning, Evan played 45 minutes at Morningstar Senior Living Center in Central Phoenix; his repertoire included Irish fiddling, patriotic songs, popular music, classical and holiday favorites.

After a quick Thanksgiving meal, Evan drove to Glendale for his second Thanksgiving Day concert, this time at Glencroft Nursing Home in Glendale, AZ.  More than 20 elderly nursing home residents enjoyed the concert.  Afterwards, a resident named Paul, who had been a music teacher, complimented Evan on his playing, and was moved to tears.  “Thank you sir,” Evan said.  “This is why I play for people — this is what my Music Ministry is all about.”
