After a week on Brown University campus participating in the Excellence at Brown pre-orientation program, World’s Strongest Violinist Evan Pittman joined other students from Brown University at the 254th Opening Convocation on Tuesday, September 5th, as Brown President Christina Paxson welcomed new students to Brown.  Professor Daniel Jordan Smith delivered the keynote address during the Convocation ceremony.

The ceremony began at 4PM, as freshman students streamed through the College Street gate onto the Main Green in a time-honored tradition.
